Kekoa Uemura（ケコア・ウケムラ）
JPSAロングのグランドチャンピオンとして知られるケコア・ウエムラはホノルルのカイムキで生まれ育ったロコボーイ。沖縄からの日系移民の４世でもある。プロサーファーである父に連れられてワイキキで初めてサーフィンをしたのが５才の時。 シェイピングは2007年から。影響を受けたシェイパーは、初期はケオラ・ラポザ、ジェイソン・カワカミ、トミー・タナカ、最近ではトッド・ピンダーやジェフ・ブッシュマン、ミツ・マツシタなど。 「僕は自分の夢を実現させて世界のあちこちに旅することができた。そのお返しに、僕は波にうまく乗れたときの至福をみんなに体験してもらう手伝いがしたいと思っている。その至福の感じっていうのはこの世で比べるものがないぐらいにステキだから。」
Dick Brewer（ディック・ブリュワー）
ブリュワーは祖父も父もエンジニアという理系の人間で、ブリュワーもエンジニアの学位を目指して大学に通った。職業の選択肢はいろいろあったが、サーフボードのシェイパーになることを選ぶ。サーフィンを始めたのは1952年で、60年代にはビッグウェイブのライダーとしても知られ、ワイメアベイやサンセットで当時のトップサーファーと肩を並べて波乗りを楽しんだ。シェイピングは1961年から続けている。
